Three ways to reset
your home for spring

Spring cleaning rolls around each year, and each year it’s the same: cleaning out a year’s worth of untouched dust, purging closets and tossing expired canned goods from your pantry. This year, shake up your to-do list with three ideas that make your spring reset enjoyable and easier. (I also threw in a bonus idea at the end!)

#1: Say goodbye to grime with All-Purpose Cleaner Concentrate

Available in several popular fragrances - my current favorite is Ocean Air & Coconut Water, Scentsy All-Purpose Cleaner Concentrate is a powerhouse product. ​The Briar U Series by Elle Kennedy​

Listen. I'm on book 28 for the year, okay? I think reading has saved my mental health more than anything these past few years. Elle Kennedy - this chick. I'm currently on the last book of this series. Which is part of an overarching collection of 3 series all set at the fictional Briar University and follows various hockey team players. I dunno why I love hockey so much or (slightly smutty) books about hockey players. But here we are LOL! Needless to say, all 12 books have been incredible and I'm going to be legit sad to leave behind the Briar peeps.

Currently EATING:

We usually have salmon once a week - maybe every two. But it is a frequent visitor in our menu and I'm always looking for new ways to prepare it just to change it up. This Bang Bang Salmon was INCREDIBLE! The sauce. THE. SAUCE. Dan and I both looked at each other like two bites in and said "YUP. IT'S A KEEPER." Also, a bonus is that this avocado cucumber salad?! HOLY POOP! I don't know why it was so amazing, but we're adding it to the options for veggies and sides because we DEVOURED IT. (Note: I did swap out cilantro (gross!) for parsley (yum!) and I'm certain nothing was lost by doing so lol.) It was so fresh and light and just freaking delicious!

CURRENTLY BAKING:

I have recently been trying to actively find a local friend base and this past week I had some of them over!! I KNOW! YAY ME! But that also means I had to bake...like, who else am I?! And MY GOODNESS these salted brown butter chocolate chip cookies were a HIT! I've tried (successfully) other versions of salted brown butter cookies, but this one was by far the easiest! Actually...now that I'm telling you about them, I might make another batch today lol.

(FYI: I use Malden's flaky sea salt and this is amazing to flake over basically anything you want to feel fancy and have extra impact! But especially sweets! A little goes a long way, btw. I have had my box for 2.5 years and use it regularly and it feels like I barely make a dent in it lol.)
